"I needed to send a gift basket to my best friend on the West Coast. As always - I wait until the last minute! I called Rosemarie from Gift Baskets & Beyond and she helped me put together a custom basket. My friend and her family are BIG movie people, but 2 of her 3 kids have Juvenile Diabetes, so we couldn't put the candy in. Rosemarie was very easy on exchanging candy for the crab dips. The basket didn't make it there for Christmas, but did get there for 2008 which worked out perfect! They were finally able to get the chance to sit down and watch the movie they rented with the Blockbuster gift certificate in the basket! By the end of the movie all the food in the basket was gone! "My children and I wanted a night out for dinner at Mansion. The restaurant is large but lots of little rooms make it feel small and intimate. I called and spoke to the owner George and he felt reservations were not needed. The service was exceptional. Our server Vickie and the Hostesses took great care of us. The prices are reasonable and they do serve liquor.

We had the World's Best Pizza that we shared as our appetizer. My daughter had a cheeseburger and my son had spaghetti and meatball. He raved about how good the meatball was. I had a cheeseburger with spicy fries. The waitress highly recommended the Cuban sandwich and claimed all the staff ate it. My Cuban lady friend said it was as good as any from Little Havana in Miami. They gladly substituted anything we wanted and gave her a delicious salad instead of fries.

Everyone, please make an effort to visit Mansion in Brick off of Route 70. Tell them GMS sent you. We plan to go back again and again.

"I have to give a big hand to Ann at Sweets at the Beach. Being the last minute person I am, I had to get quite a few "treats" for the holidays. I called Ann and she was right there for me! We got everyone I needed taken care of. I was set on getting on friend the large Snowman. Ann was out and called all over to see if she could find me one. She was unable to come locate one - BUT did come up with such a beautiful snowman arrangement for me! I think it might have gone over better than the 3 pound snowman! I did give the 3 pound Santa and that was a big hit! The cookie trays were delicious - both to the eye and the taste! I brought my son there to get something for his class party - and he was EXACTLY like a kid in a candy store! I did not get the chance to meet Ann (although we did try to coordinate our schedules) but the young lady behind the counter was such a great help! I found my new candy store!

"I would love to share my wonderful experience at The Lighthouse Restaurant. I had childhood memories in the actual building. Growing up this establishment was a pizzeria where I hung out daily with some friends enjoying good conversations and food. As I became a adolescent it became a italian restaurant known for huge portions and a family atmosphere. I wanted to relive the experience with my family as a adult but was apprehensive that it wouldn't live up to my past experiences. I am happy to say it created new memories for myself and family. The restaurant is warm and cozy. The food is simply delicious. All three of us had different seafood dishes and we cant decide which dish was the tastiest. I am sure this will become a regular for me and my family as a adult. If you haven't tried LightHouse than you must put it on your to do list for sure."
