Dear GMS Members:
Let's face it, moving is traumatic enough without the added stress
of all the costs associated in making your new residence your home.
Having moved into a house where a dirty dog used to live, my wife
was convinced that we needed new carpets. I suggested that maybe
we should try to have the carpets cleaned first, so I turned to
GMS where I came across B & K Carpet
Cleaning. In our initial phone call to Brian we found him
to be very knowledgeable and contracted him to do the work (hopefully
saving me thousands on new carpets in the process). Well, when I
came home from work yesterday, my wife was beaming and so were my
carpets. Her smile was priceless. Great job Brian!"

I
needed ink cartridges for my printer, so through GMS, I found Cartridge
Renewal Systems.
I gave them a call and spoke with Craig. He steered me in the direction
of purchasing some mailers for the cartridges and have them refilled
which was not only convenient, but it was almost half the cost of
buying the cartridges in one of the local "marts". Great
customer service!

If
you're in the Route 33 area of Manalapan, make sure you stop at
La
Bella Napoli.
My husband & I popped in there one busy Friday night. We started
with the Eggplant Rollitini and it was the best we've ever tasted!
Out of this world! I could have made a meal on that alone. I then
had pasta with meatballs that were the size of snowballs! I brought
my food home and ate lunch for 2 more days! The portions are very
generous and the food is simply delicious. They are definitely well
worth the trip.

I found Dawn Kenny and Salon

on GMS and they are located in Old Bridge. It was easy to make an
appointment and Dawn made me feel confident in her abilities from
the start. She did a wonderful job cutting my hair and trimming
my beard. We traded stories about GMS and our business. I learned
that Salon
527
is about to celebrate its tenth year in business and Dawn loves
her job. In addition to hair styling, Dawn also provides tanning
and waxing. I will definitely not hesitate to return to Salon
527.

Since
summer was over, it was time to close my pool. I looked to The Network
for a resource, and I found R
& R Pools.
They came to my house and took care of everything. I appreciate
their help! Thanks guys for doing a great job. I have met a lot
of great people in the network from the business card functions,
and I utilize people for my every day needs. I have someone coming

was getting desperate. I had called the various boat repair facilities.
No one was able to, or was even willing to see if they could find
a lock for the sliding glass door on my boat. Even the manufacture
was no help. So, I called Pete at Little
Thunder Locksmith.
"I can help", he said. I brought him pictures of where
the lock needed to be. He custom designed a lock which not only
fit perfectly, but locks my boat! Thanks Pete, for a job well done.

Moms Cleaning Service,
at a networking function and set up an appointment for her to give
us an estimate at our home. Jennifer was very prompt, courteous
and gave us a better price than we were paying before. After her
first cleaning she followed up with a phone call to find out if
we were satisfied with the services performed which I thought was
very professional. I would definitely recommend Jennifer for any
of your cleaning needs.

fellow GMS member had a death in their family. After checking out
Postmodern
Picnic's
website I gave them a call. Still not knowing for sure what I wanted
I asked Barbara for some help. She suggested a Muffin and Croissant
Expression of Sympathy Basket. She said that was the most popular
basket, so I took her suggestion. They were even able to deliver
it next day. Since I did not want the basket left on the door step
they offered to call first to make sure that someone would be home.

contacted Jon at Reliance

because my clothes dryer decided it didn't want to turn on. Not
only did he quickly respond, but I was impressed that he drove from
Matawan to the Toms River area to do the service. He arrived at
the promised time. Not only did he fix my problem efficiently, but
he cleaned the entire machine (no small task after 10 years of service).
He also eliminated a squeak I thought was integral to the machine.
Definitely a person I will call on whenever I have the need. You
should too.

Spring Lake Manor
has done a wonderful job of remodeling the facility and is a wonderful
person to work with when planning an event. Recently, I contacted
John in an attempt to secure his facility. John took the time to
meet with me and work out the details to both our satisfaction.
Additionally, when asked by my daughter-in-law for suggestions as
to where to have my son's birthday party, I didn't hesitate to recommend
The
Spring Lake Manor.
John and and staff did an excellent job on decorating the room,
preparing the food, etc. Their attention to detail and hospitality
was the best! John, I appreciate all that you did for my family.

Last
week, I went to The
Lighthouse Restaurant
in Jackson. Our waitress Gia was awesome! She was very personable
and made sure that everything was ok. I had Chilean Sea Bass that
was to die for! The calamari and fresh mozzarella and roasted pepper
appetizers were delicious. The atmosphere was very quaint. It was
nice to be able to have a conversation without having to yell across
the table. I am hoping to become a regular there. The prices are
not ridiculous - and it is nice to get a nice hot meal in a warm
"home-like" atmosphere. I can't rave enough about The
Lighthouse Restaurant.

I called T-N-T
Heating-Air Conditioning & Duct Cleaning
in order to get my dryer vent cleaned out. It turns out that what
should have been a standard maintenance procedure turned into a
big job because my plexi-pipe was dysfunctional and caused lots
of water to pool in the pipe. Tom fixed the problem temporarily
and cleared EVERYTHING out of my vent but I will definitely call
him again to permanently correct the shoddy construction of my condo.
I am glad I called T-N-T!

was so excited when Paws
Pet Boutique
joined GMS since I have so many dogs and cats. My favorite cat had
emergency surgery last week and I spoke to Mary Jen about special
food for him. Mary Jen made calls about holistic treatment for him.
I stopped by the store to pick up some items and a birthday present
for my nephew Pug. Mary Jen and Nancy have a great shop with such
a variety of items to pamper your pets, many being natural products
for them. I picked up quite a few items for everyone. I saw a great
dog outfit for a true sports fan. Mary Jen didn't have it in the
right team but ordered it for me. I can't wait to give it to him.
