| 1) Testimonials
must be sent within 60 days of using a member.
Reason: Testimonials should
be fresh and relevant. Members need to share the information
in a timely fashion in order to be useful to the member used.
In addition, we want to avoid getting a flood of testimonials
toward the end of the contest year.
2) Testimonials can only be sent once per usage.
Reason: Repeat
testimonials of the same member being used are not allowed
in order to keep the testimonials fresh and fair to those
who are not used as often. I.E. A roofer may be used once
every 5 years, but a beauty salon can be used 5 times per
year. Reading about the same salon used by the same member
for the 5th time would be uneventful at best. In addition,
keeping up with the volume of testimonials if repeat testimonials
were allowed would be impossible.
3)
Testiminials must be Member to Member and money must exchange
hands.
Reason: Referrered members, uncles,
cousins, and good friends are great to get info from. But
nothing is better than hearing it from the horses mouth! In
order for testimonials to count, a GMS Member, Spouse, or
employee must engage in the transaction and money must exchange
hands. Sorry, Free consultations dont count.
4) Points for using a fellow GMS Member is given for initial
usage only.
Reason: Many reasons for this, but
mainly because our objective is to encourage the initial use
and help promote the genesis of the business relationship.
This keeps the importance of New Members and Established Members
equal and promotes reaching out to new members.
5)
Referrals must know the referring member on a first name basis
in order to count.
Reason: 25% of our Network is referral
based. Good people know and associate with good people. Good
business owners, quality business owners do the same. We want
referrals from members that are known personally. This keeps
the quality level of GMS extremely high. |
