Ellis:
Any business is only as strong as
its
customers. This is why repeat business and loyalty is
so
important. Many times, as
business owners we are so
focused
on growing our business, that we don't pay enough attention
to
EXISTING customers.
We don't want to make
that
mistake, so I am always looking for ways to invest in The
Network to
increase our value to you.
As you are probably aware,
GMS
made the move to its new location in Brick beginning this
month. The move went quite
smooth all things
considered and
once we were moved in, it hit me like a ton of Bricks
(no pun
intended) just how awesome
the power of networking is and
how
fortunate we are to have made such powerful
relationships.
You see, we don't just preach
"Networking", we
live it also. I had a GMS member last week
email me
about how much we
use The Network personally and for our business.
It
is such a habit and lifestyle at this point, I hardly even
think
about it as
it is now instinct to "Look to The Network
first". But curiosity got the better of me, so I looked
up my
personal usage for this
year and for GMS. In about 10
minutes I
estimated that I have used over 35 businesses and spent close
to
$30,000 on The
Network this year alone.
I
rarely
discuss my personal usage of The Network as YOU are my focus,
but
the amazing thing is that I haven't gone out of
my way to
use
anyone. All usage was out of needs that I have in my
every day
life. The beauty of it is that the quality of
work
is
usually exceptional, the relationships built are invaluable,
and the
savings are enormous. GMS is awesome because
our
members
are awesome. Thank you for helping keep us strong.
We
will do whatever we can to help you stay strong
as well.

With the move now complete, our next step is
to add
value to YOU! We didnt' just move for our benefit, we
moved
for the
benefit of The Network! So, beginning
in September, one of the ways we will be adding value is
to
host a morning breakfast
on the first Friday of every
month at
our new location for the first 10-15 GMS members that RSVP.
This will give members
a very personal networking
opportunity.
Here is how it works. Breakfast is
$25. However, it is FREE if you attend. In other
words,
there is no cost unless you
RSVP and are a no show.
(Members arriving after 8:30am are considered no-shows and
will be
charged) This is to prevent
slots getting filled and not being used. It will be fully
catered and go from 7:45am - 9:00am. GMS Members Only. The
max for any business
is 2
people. This is so we can get as many members as
possible to
attend over the next 6 months
or so. Members
RSVP'ing who
have not attended a breakfast will get preference over those
who
have attended so that
everyone gets a chance.
If RSVP's are overwhelming, we will consider
hosting
breakfast twice per month in the future.
The
first
breakfast will be Friday, September 7th. You may RSVP
at
anytime, just be aware that once your slot is filled,
it
is $25
should you not show. So please be absolutely sure you
are
coming before you RSVP since space is so
limited.

Little Marv gets 1st Place!
Thats right! Marvin pulled a 1st place out
of 10
racers on June 24th in PA.

It was the first win ever on the
65 and
with a whole year to go (2008) he is in
an excellent
position to
rake in the wins for GMS Racing! In addition,
Marv
pulled a
5th out of 19 riders in Delaware on June 17th after
crashing
twice.
Brian Smith pulled two 3rd's and a 2nd
on the
same weekend, (see link above)
and with GMS Racing
purchasing a
new 2007 KX450F as a backup bike,
should be able to
finish the
rest of the year with no mechanical issues.
